Cannot delete apps in iOS14

Have you tried :

Settings -General -iPhone Storage

Scroll down to an app you wish deleted. Tap it it in the list, a window opens: scroll to where it says delete app

Tap to delete the app

update: after trying a number of things, I gave up and did a factory reset on my phone after taking a backup. Everything works fine now. But I’m very disappointed with Apple as I’ve never seen such a bad update.

I solved this issue by simply turning off the ‘SCREEN TIME’ simply navigate to settings, search and turn the screen time OFF

Have you tried :

Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings

Don’t forget to take a backup before this.

Open Settings ➔ General ➔ Reset ➔ Erase All Contents & Settings : Once you choose that then your iPhone will walk you through erasing the iPhone completely.

I have had this issue after updating to iOS 14.0.1. It’s very frustrating. I also got the new Apple Watch 6 and tried to pair it with my phone. Using the watch app, it gets stuck as seen in the picture. I have a pretty much useless watch and a partially working phone now. This is the worst update from Apple yet!

Hi Apple team!!! We r facing this serious problem that cannot be solve at all!!! I cannot delete the delete/remove all the apps and also cannot update my Iwatch. Is just stuck when I click on “GENERAL”!!! Pls do something Apple team!!!!! Don’t keep us waiting!!!

How have you make the link to show "contacting Apple For support and service" instead to show the url?

(I've been off the forums awhile and notice it is different as it used to be. Thank you.)

I never liked showing just the URL because it is hard to place it in the context of a sentence.

1. Type in the appropriate phrase or a sentence that you want converted to a link.
2. Highlight the above phrase/sentence
3. Choose the attachment icon (Link Insertion icon) from the tool bar at the bottom of the typing pane
4. Insert the Url in the ensuing text input cell - Hit Return
5. You are all set and then you can do the BOLD or ITALIC or any other enhancement if you wish

With this ios 14 I am getting the following app delete problem: when I try to set the system to not allow app delete, apps still stay deletable and can be deleted regardless any settings... it used to work fine before.
