My iMac (being sold) might still show up on iCloud (web). My iMac (2) shows my new 27" iMac with the correct serial number. What does the (2) refer to? Does it mean that my sold 27" iMac has not been properly signed out of iCloud?

Thanks for your help. The serial number shown is for my new iMac and that's perfect.
But, does (2) refer to me owning 2 iMacs? If so, does that mean that my old iMac is still signed into iCloud? I sold the older one and obviously can't check any settings there.
Try REMOVE for your Profile in Apple ID Login
Click on iMac (2) and it should show the Serial Number.
