My iPhone 7 camera stopped working every since I did the iOS 13 update. The back camera works perfectly, the front camera shows black screen...
when I try to take pic with the black screen, I hear the sound of the button, however nothing happens, and NO pics are added to gallery.
I tried all the troubleshooting from Apple and nothing worked.
my iPhone is now updated to iOS 14 and I restated, tried restoring factory settings, etc.

Hopefully you did that update in September 2019, so your camera must have been failing for the last year.

Thank you for the feedback; yes I have been without front camera for a year now!
and I tried the troubleshooting you shared even before posting... still not working. Hundreds of others have the same problem online; that’s why I posted it now.
Apple needs to answer this!
