Apple Watch 5 battery life much worse since upgrade to Watch OS 7

My Apple Watch 5 battery used to last all day with maybe a 25% charge left at night. Now I need to charge it twice a day.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Is anyone else having the same problem

After installing a watchOS update, battery may be shorter while new background operations occur. It should resolve itself within 2-3 days. If not, you can try restarting your Apple Watch or re-pairing it to your iPhone.
