IOS 14 update will not install on my iphone 6s.

Just got a new Apple Watch today and now unable to install IOS 14. tried multiple times. attempted all of the troubleshooting tips. Error reads: unable to verify update. Have restarted, deleted download each time, reset iphone to original default settings. Have strong wifi. disconnected all other devices using wifi....

Cannot update to IOS 15.5 from iPhone 8 plus I have an iPhone 8+ with storage available showing that I need to update to 15.5. Ive tried several times to update but once the system begins the update an alert comes up saying there’s an error with 15.5, I can RETRY or REMIND ME LATER. Those are the only decisions I can make. I’ve tried both options repeatedly. Can you assist so I can program a new Apple Watch?
