Hello, I have double pictures in all of my message attachments with friends. I delete one of the doubles and the whole thing has now deleted photos I wished to keep in the attachments and cannot get them back. Why are they showing double in the attachment thread, yet deleting as one photo? How do i stop this dysfunction?

We understand from your post that you are seeing double photos in the message attachments but when you delete one of the photos both photos are deleted. In a situation like this to prevent the loss of the photos, save the photo by pressing and hold your finger to it and selecting Save. Once saved you can then delete the photo in the message attachments without deleting it in your Photos app where it is saved.
