iPhone 7 Plus huge battery drain overnight

Hi! 15th Sep 2020 I bough new iPhone (iPhone 7 Plus) to me and 18th Sep 2020 updated to IOS14 I`ve got an issue with my iPhone 7 Plus. Yesterday in the late evening my iPhone had about 100% battery, then I turned on the Airplane Mode(everything else like WiFi, Bluetooth etc. were off). I woke up in the morning the today, took my iPhone, which had only 49%. Why has the battery percentage been so much down overnight? I charge my iPhone with original both cable and charger, background refreshing is completely off. Why is that happening?

Hey imajida,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have some battery concerns with your iPhone after updating.

Sometimes after a software update, apps reindex or reanalyze data, like Photos tagging for faces, places, or keywords, etc., and this can tempoarily impact battery performance. Learn more here: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures

While what you're experiencing could be temporary expected behavior, if you find after a few days that you're still noticing that your battery performance is affected, there may be a setting that was reset after updating. Check out the settings here to make sure they match up with your device: Batteries - Maximizing Performance.

Take care.
