Downloading Movies from Parent account to Family Shared kid ipad

I have downloaded movies from my Apple Library to my Mac. I have family sharing turned on for every thing and I'm trying to copy this movie to my son's linked Ipad. All devices are updated. I've tried this several different ways, and even had my brother attempt the same thing with his similar setup. We both cannot get this to work. This use to work fine when I was using Itunes on my old WIndows. How are we suppose to do this now?

Please fix.

Hey rturner77,

Did you make the purchase of these movies under your account or his? If it was under your account, open the TV app and click on Library > Family Sharing. From there, tap on your account and see if the movies show.

If you don’t see the movies, but other movies are showing, use this link to reach out to Apple Support to look further into this with you:

To verify, do you see the movies showing at all? If not, go through the steps in this link to help you resolve the issue:

If you don't see your family's shared content

Once you’ve gone through the steps there, try downloading the purchases once more:

Share App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books purchases with Family Sharing

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, not only were the steps for an older version of IOS (KB needs updating) but this still did not work. I took my child's Ipad, and tried to search for a movie I know I purchased but that is not currently on the ipad. This showed the movie with the play or download option, however I was unable to download and every movie I attempted to play said that was an issue with the content. Mind you the movies I tried were all Pixar movies, so a rating level should not have been the issue.

Please advise.
