How to use video stabilization on iPhone 11Pro Max

Hey everyone, I'm eager to start recording video, but i'm wondering how to utilize the video stabilization? I'm using 4k at 25fps. Does it happen automatically? Is it something I need to change in settings or do in post? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
