In the past few days I have seen a definitely annoying message popping up on Safari with the script "Do you want to allow downloads on "tpc.googlesyndication.com"? You can change which websites can download files in Websites Preferences.
Obviously I click on "Cancel" and so the download of the file f.txt is blocked.
I don't think it's normal, may it be a virus?

Fortunately, the message hasn't popped up in the last few days, I don't know why.
As you suggested, I'll check on the browser extensions should I have the same problem again.

It sounds like you may have an extension installed. Does it continue if you uninstall the extension? Get extensions to customize Safari on Mac - Apple Support
