conecting mac mini with macbook ai

I have a MacBook Air. Thinking of getting a larger capacity Mac mini just for Logic Pro.

think I can use screen share to use the Mac book air keyboard and screen I think

is this correct?

found some instructions about using a cable to the router to start the process but will I have to do this every time I used or is this a one time operation and after doing once it all connects via Bluetooth or I turn the screen save on?

don't want to purchase if I can’t do what I want.

not very technical so any help welcomed

Screen Sharing is done over a network and must be connected

via that network whenever using Screen Sharing. Ethernet is the

preferred connection because it will faster and more reliable than

WiFi, unless you happen to have one of the new ludicrous speed

WiFi routers.


As an aside, you will need a display, keyboard, and mouse when first

setting up the new Mini, especially when it comes to things like

Screen Sharing. Once that is all completed, it just needs to be connected

to the network and usually does not any thing else and you can log in

and do what ever from your MBA.
