Error Code 4000

I saw someone else post this as a fix. These are the steps that they went through. Give it a try.

• Disconnecting the iPhone from iTunes
• Disabling the passcode on the iPhone
• Restarting the iPhone
• Restarting iTunes
• Reconnecting the iPhone to the computer and restarting the update procedure.

You have to turn off passcode AND turn off screen lock, then plug the phone back into your computer and try again. I found this on the MAC forum and it literally is the only thing that worked. Pretty bad glitch in the IOS 14 update I think, since I find it pretty scary to turn off passcode and Lock Screen, and I never had to do this for any other update, but it did work. Hope they fix this bug for the next update!!!
