Apple Watch competition points not showing up??

I have been competing with a friend of mine and today it says that I have 0 points for the day even though my rings have been filling up. I have tried resetting both my phone and watch, unpaired my watch and deleted all content, updated both my phone and watch and tried calling apple and they just sent me links on how to update and restart my phone and watch. I am really disappointed right now. It isn't in sync and I am not sure why. Somebody please help.
