Nowhere to input Apple verification code on Catalina
Apple needs add my Macbook to my trusted devices but it gets sent to my Mac but where do I enter the code?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. It sounds as though you're wanting to add an additional device to your account as a Trusted Device but are unsure of the process.
Have you reviewed Two-factor authentication for Apple ID, and attempted to follow the suggestions here? If not, this is a great place to start. It explains how to enable this feature on each device and explains how they are used.
