Switched ISP now Apple TV 3rd gen won't respond to change WiFi

How do i link my Apple TV 3rd gen to new WiFi account as previous one is now disconnected?

  • It would have worked best if you had set it to forget the network as the last action with the previous network. Then it wouldn’t try to connect to a non-existant network. Maybe next time.
  • Possibly you can create a home network on your router with the same SSID network name and password as the previous network.
  • For my Apple TV (different model, though), I had to be persistent and had to try to connect to a new-password-network three times, before it would accept it!
  • If nothing else works, you can reset or restore the Apple TV, to start with a clean slate.
