I have Apple Watch 3 and I am not able to install the new version

Hi!! I have Iwatch 3 and I am not able to install the new version due to capacity. Though I have deleted the apps. Capacity is 4.8 and available is 2.4. The new version requires 3.1. What am I supposed to do??

Need help with my update please. I have a series 3 Apple Watch and trying to complete my update. I have 2.3 available and 1.9 used. I have removed as much as I know how to. Still cannot get to the 2.5 available needed to complete update. Any suggestions other than the unpairing ? Thanks, Pat

Apple watch update The update says it needs 3.1 to update - mine says it only has 4.8GB capacity, with 3.0 available. to get any more, I would have to delete all but messenger and timer - both of which I use regularly. Can I do anything else?
