imac unplugged accidentally, won’t start up


My iMac iOS will not start up. When power applied, the startup sound is heard, the Apple logo appears and displays a loading progress. The the “progress” line is finished, the screen is on but blank, with only the mouse arrow displayed.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.14

Go through all of the troubleshooting steps listed in: If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support
