IMac shut down ok, but now will not start up

IMac shut down ok yesterday but today will not start up - no sound no screen display - no response from power button

iMac 24″, macOS 13.3

Check the power cord on the back of the iMac to make sure that it is fully seated.

Check the surge protector (if used) to make sure it is on.

Check for power at the wall outlet.

Thanks for your response.

I unplugged everything tried different outlets w/out the surge protector. Unplugged the connector on the back of the iMac, so far nothing has made any difference. Still no response from the on/off switch.

Schedule Apple in-store repair after testing from another outlet.

I tried other outlets outlets and the surge protector has a printer connected that is ON, I scheduled an appt at the local Apple Store
