I keep getting an error message when I try erase my disk. I tried turning off and then on again but keep getting the same error message and cannot erase. Any suggestions?
What is the message?
If you are trying to erase your hard drive (the disk you are booted from), it will not work. You cannot erase it unless you boot into another source such as an external clone or recovery process.

You May Need to Mount the Disk First:
Select the Disk and then click “Mount”. See if it then works.
