I managed to connect my Samsung gear S2 to my iPhone running on ios14.3.

All you have to do is (on your gear S2) go to settings and scroll down and click on “connect to new phone”.

This will do a soft reset of the smart watch so you will probably lose your health info on your watch. You can open up the Galaxy Watch app on you iPhone and it will scan for your watch and it should show up allowing you to connect to it.

To be on the safe side make sure your Bluetooth on your iPhone doesn’t have the gear s2 already stored before doing any of this.

I had the same problem, but I found the solution that works for me.

I have a Samsung Gear S2 watch, and Iphone 11 Pro Max (iOS 14.4.2)


First, don't try to connect your Samsung Gear S2 with your iPhone through Galaxy Watch App, but try to connect it through Bluetooth on your phone. First, disconnect all other devices that are connected to your iPhone, and then search for your Samsung Gear S2.

Once it's connected, go to your Galaxy Watch App on the iPhone and connect it to the watch.

My iPhone 6s Plus works after restore the iOS. And it connected again. I was switch from iPhone 6s p to iPhone 8. And connected S2 to iPhone 8. Then. I try to go back to 6s P . Then have problems for both. Then I try to connect to my wife 8 plus. It works again. But my wife doesn’t want the S2. So I try to connect back to 6s P. 8P. With S2 function( connect to new phone) Both not working. Then i connect to 5s. It works again. So I found out the S2only connect the phone never been connected it before. So I restored the 6s P and set as new phone. It back to work and connected.
