Hello Apple community,
I recently purchased a new Desktop iMac to replace my '09 model. The 2020 model doesn't come with an Optical Drive. If I want to upload music from CDs (or movies) into iTunes, will the Apple USB SuperDrive work for that?

Yes, absolutely. Other brands of external DVD/CD drives will work as well. Just make sure they are labeled as macOS compatible.
The one thing to remember is that these external drives must be plugged into a USB port on the back of your iMac. The SuperDrive and others will not work if plugged into a USB Hub.
