Having trouble disconnecting Apple ID from apple watch

So my question is, how I do disconnect someone else’s Apple ID from my Apple Watch? I tried looking it up on google and it told me that the person that has the Apple ID that the watch is connected to needs to unpair it from their phone but the watch isn’t paired with the phone that the Apple ID is connected too.
