Hi Eric,

In the mean time. It is working at my end. VPN is turn off! The extension plugins are disabled.

Log in via Incognito. And double check my logins. I have to reformat and reinstall my os. And

do a new setup again. To get it working. I have not a clue what really happen. I'm afraid that it

might be malware or adware that cropping up with the Google Chrome web browsers.

I just logged in successfully. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try again? Have you tried restarting/resetting the router?

Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

Safe Mode - About.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply.        Pastebin.

Hi Eric,

Could be. Yeah the Apple Server. Another thing is that I cannot run that with VPN. The apple server have ip address tracking. I guess. So I disable that VPN. And try it again. See if it have any hiccups for a few days. Or the guys over the Apple are doing some maintenance.

I have check the Apple status.

Two suggestions.

  1. Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test. Then try Safari/History/Show History and delete all history items.  Quit/reopen Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History…. The down side is it clears all cookies. Doing this may cause some sites to no longer recognize your computer as one that has visited the web site.

Go to Safari Preferences/Extensions and turn all extensions off. Quit/reopen Safari and test. If okay, turn the extensions on one by one until you figure out what extension is causing the problem.

2 Try another browser as a test.

Firefox        10.9 or higher.

Opera Browser        10.9 or higher.

SeaMonkey      10.9 or higher8.

Waterfox          10.8 or higher.

If running Mojave or Catalina, you can also try Safari Technology Preview. Go to Safari/Preferences/Advanced and check Show Develop menu in menu bar. Go to the Develop menu and select Get Safari Technology Preview. Open from the Applications folder.

If you think you may  have adware/malware installed. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac      10.10 and later.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your help. I indeed have Thomas Reeds's Malwarebytes for Mac. I did scan but it found nothing.

I have AVG free for mac and Bitdefender free too. The X-Protect built in cannot detect anything. This is got to do with the browsers. I try delete and reinstall the google chrome still the same issues. So the last resort is to format and reinstall the os. That somehow solves all the problems. And you are indeed right that i have to disable VPN. There is a possibility that the Apple Server is the root of the problem. I have submitted a general feedback to them. I think the got the message and rectify the problems. It is either Apple are doing some maintenance at their Server end. I have no clue what so ever. It could be the Google Chrome Extension plug in can cause problems as it can too infected by malware /adwares. To stay safe my only option is to use Firefox. As that is much more better. Or Opera. There are times there is no option to reset to factory defaults with Google Chrome. Can't use VPN. I think Apple server is detecting your location of your apple id account in order to get access. So I think that got to do with it. In the mean time i will stay monitor all day just to see if there is any more problems.

I cannot login to apple id website today
