How to Check the number of charges left on a MacBook Pro battery.

How can I tell how many charges are left on my MacBook Pro. I recently received a replacement laptop from Apple after they ruined my computer while replacing the keyboard. Since they don't make 2017 MacBook Pro's any longer, I know it is refurbished. Why should I be stuck with someone's else's computer with an old battery.

There really isn't a set amount of cycles that you are going to get from a battery. That being said, you should get a NEW battery in any replacement that they have given you, even if the computer is refurbished, the battery will be new. That being said, you can use the method listed above to see how many cycles your battery has, but there is no way to guarantee that the battery is going to last a certain amount of cycles, nor that it will make it to a certain amount of cycles.
