Power cable color code

I want to change the power plug, because the one came with the computer does not suite my country system.

I found the following colors:

white, grey and green.

Which one of them is the live, neutral and earth?

Most electrical sockets I’ve encountered on Apple products are IEC standard, other than the “duckhead” that’s been used in a few places, and that’s (mostly) a standard coupler.

From that “appliance coupler”, standard cables are available for each country.

Cord sets vary.

If you’re not sure which is which, look up the socket and use a test meter.

And if you're not very sure of your skills here, acquire a standard cord set. Or better, check with a licensed electrician, or electrical supply, as they probably have the cord set, or the cord can be ordered from Apple.

Mistakes made in wiring can mean fire, equipment damage, injury, and death, now or in the future.
