Will the Genius Bar look at and service vintage machines?

Will Apple technicians give support for older, vintage machines through the Genius Bar, or is there a cutoff? If there is a cutoff point does anyone know what it, Machines listed as vintage or legacy are they beyond the pale?

This is curiosity not need.

Thanks very much.

Since repair by replacement is the normal way of servicing, not having parts make servicing impossible.

NB> Apple says those terms have very specific meanings.
