Disabling Ctrl + Left Click = Right Click

Basically, I’m playing a game on my MacBook Pro where I use Ctrl to Run and Left Click to preform an action. But every time I hold Ctrl and Left Click at the same time, it registers as a right click. Is there a way to disable CtrlClick?

use ctrl+left click in applications in macos, ctrl+left click is used as a right click. some applications (older ones, no longer under active development) have specific features/actions mapped to ctrl+click (not re-mappable), but don't disable the system mapping to a right click. is there any way to "force" send ctrl+click as ctrl+click to those applications without it being changed to a right click? i am talking any way, settings, scripts, third party software.

How to disable Control + Left Click = Right Click? Holding the Control key during a Left Click will perform a Right Click. I want to disable this. I want Control + Left Click to perform a Left Click with a Control modifier. Then, I will have "Control + Left Click" available as a keymapping option in my IDE, browser, game, etc. And no, the egregious response in How to disable Control + Left Click = Rig… - Apple Community, "Don't press Control" is not a solution, even if, astonishingly, it's endorsed as "Apple recommended". Flames. Flames on the side of my face.

That key sequence is built into the OS to perform a Right-Click because, originally, Apple computers came with a one-button mouse. Perhaps, the game provides a way to change the default controls. I cannot find anything built-in that changes that shortcut.
