Mail App not downloading all emails?

TL;DR: My iPhone won't download all emails after moving them to junk and back

Earlier today, I goofed up and instead of marking all as read, I moved all my emails to junk :( I shook to undo, but since I have around 30,000 emails, my phone froze up and crashed before it could undo. I eventually got around to opening up the mail app on my MacBook, and decided to move all my emails from junk to my inbox (including the actual junk emails). While this seemed to work for all of my other devices, my iPhone just refuses to cooperate. I tried removing accounts and re-adding, I tried deleting the mail app and redownloading, resetting the RAM, and I tried doing a hard reset. Every time it only downloads two from today, and then shows a few from 3 months ago, which is 100% not what my inbox is supposed to look like. Does anyone have any way for me to force my iPhone to download all my emails from the gmail server?

iPhone XS, iOS 14

Hey there, Lucas.Godfrey.

We reviewed your post and it sounds like the emails from your inbox were accidentally moved to the junk folder, and ever since then, none of your emails that were moved to junk have shown in your inbox again on your iPhone. You've taken some great steps already.

To get started, let's ensure the filter button isn't enable din the lower left-hand corner for your inbox. Check out the information below from the following article about filtering emails: Flag and filter emails on iPhone

"Filter emails

You can use filters to temporarily show only certain messages—the ones that meet all the criteria you select in the filter list. For example, if you select “Unread” and “Only Mail with Attachments,” you see only unread emails that have attachments.

  1. Tap  in the bottom-left corner of a mailbox list.
  2. Tap “Filtered by.”
  3. Select or turn on the criteria for emails you want to view.
  4. Tap  in the bottom-left corner to hide emails that don’t match the current filters. Tap again to turn the filter off.

To turn off an active filter, deselect it or turn it off. To turn off all filters, tap the Filter button."

If the issue continues or if we have misunderstood the situation, please answer the following questions to help us better understand what is going on:

1. We know your inbox looks okay on your MacBook, but does everything look okay in webmail?

2. Are those emails still showing in the junk folder?

3. What happens if you refresh the inbox for this email?

Let us know if that helps or if you have any questions. Take care!
