Brand new IPhone 11 wont charge wirelessly (Qi charging)

got A brand new iPhone 11 today and it won’t charge wirelessly. The Qi charger is Pure Gear and works flawlessly with any other Qi enable phone, including my roommates iPhone 11. Tried hard resetting and I highly doubt this phone is defect from the factory. Help please.

P.S. Don’t be that ***** that copy/paste a link like “if your phone doesn’t charge, click here” just to comment and improve your standing/ranking in the community because every other post like this got the same response with no definitive answer to the problem. That doesn’t help me.

Hello Aaabbbccc812,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you're unable to wirelessly charge an iPhone 11 with Pure Gear.

Wirelessly charging an iPhone is feature we'd like for you to enjoy. We'll be happy to help.

Are you currently on iOS 14.0.1? You can verify that by going to Settings > General > About > Version. If not, we suggest to update the software on your iPhone by following these steps: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, is this the exact make and model of your wireless charger: PURE GEAR PUREGEAR WIRELESS CHARGING PAD WITH STAND (06381PG)

In addition, let's ensure you follow the recommended steps outlined in the section of this article that says, "Learn more": How to wirelessly charge your iPhone

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards.
