After updating to iOS 14.0.1 my phone will not update mail on either Outlook App or Apple App.
Anyone else having issues?

Okay - so I just spoke to an apple adviser about this problem and they said they are aware of it. The adviser said in order to fix the issue I need to go to ‘settings’ - scroll down to ‘mail’ - click ‘mail’ - go to ‘accounts’ - click on the email address which is a problem - scroll down to ‘delete account’ - click to delete - then click ‘add account’ - choose email provider ie outlook etc - enter email address then password. Apparently this fixes the problem. I have three accounts which are constantly asking me to re-enter password, so I’ll do this for all of them and fingers crossed this annoying issue will be resolved. Fingers crossed.
That’s what I was wondering - it’s all well and good being able to vent on here - but I’d like a response from Apple, at least acknowledging the issue etc

I was having the re-enter your password issue everyday (msn account), but now it won't recognize my email and tells me to enter a work or school email address.
This happens to my gf also since updating ios yesterday.
Same here. I have 4 accounts. 3 won’t verify. So far only on iPhone11 but this is the device I have for work.
Yep. Same here. Cannot send or receive emails in hotmail. Keeps asking for password which then says is wrong or freezes.
Since the iOS 14.1, I have been asked to input my outlook password multiple times per day. I thought it was a hack initially, but now I think it’s a dumb error in the update.
Yes, loads having the same issues. I have a number of customers (and myself) which have this issue. C’mon Apple / MS - one of you needs to fix this!

Might have something to do with the new update, iOS 14.2.
I will post the screenshot of my comment that got stuck before being posted. This 14.1 ios is a nightmare, I updated my iphone with a Apple bug.
What company end? Mine is not solved, I have been experiencing it since the last ios update and just today I had to re enter my passwords.
