Return Policy, Does Jailbreaking Void It?

My friend had recently bought a new iPad and he was thinking about jailbreaking it to reclaim some features that Apple had Completely destroyed in their iPadOS Softwares. I was asked the question I'm now asking the community(because I wasn't sure), Does Jailbreaking a new device void the ability of brining it back to the store for a return(within the 14 day grace period)?

Apple return policy on Ipad i recently purchased I pad pro, I was wondering can I return the iPad within 14 days if I’m not happy with my purchase? Even after using the ipad? I read the return terms but if I agree to the license agreement during ipad setup will this break the refund policy? Or I’m okay to use it as long as I return it in perfect condition within 14 days? ipad pro new latest gen (2021)
