Battery Widget iOS14 showing rings and not Percentage

I have updated to iOS14 and watch OS 7.0.1. the battery widget shows battery status for both but only in green or red rings. How do I get it to show status in a percentage?

Hello phyll2447,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

Based on what you mentioned, you want to edit your widget for Battery.

  1. "Go to the Home Screen page where you want to add the widget, then touch and hold the Home Screen background until the apps begin to jiggle.
  2. Tap  at the top of the screen to open the widget gallery.
  3. Scroll or search to find the widget you want, tap it, then swipe left through the size options.
  4. The different sizes display different information.
  5. When you see the size you want, tap Add Widget, then tap Done."

You'll see this information here: Add widgets to the iPhone Home Screen.

When you use these instructions on iPhone, you can change how the Widget is viewed.

It sounds like you have the smallest widget showing. For your iPhone, you'll want to select the medium sized one to also see the battery percentage.

Best wishes!
