Apple TV doesn’t shut off when the tv goes off.
on one of my TVs, Apple TV doesn’t shut off when the tv goes off. It stays on until I shut it off manually or it quits working and has to be unplugged before it will work again.

Users should put the Apple TV in sleep mode when not in use.
