Does anyone know of what wire i need to
extend a display from a PC to a Macbook pro?

None. You cannot use a Mac notebook as a display nor can the notebook use a PC as a display. A Mac notebook can only use a normal external display. The required cable depends on what ports are on the computer and on the display, which information you haven't provided.
