Apple TV-to-Projector Connection Gives Flickering - HDMI

How to I Prevent this flickering?

The Issue:

I am getting flickering when connecting my projector to my Apple TV via an HDMI cable. When I plug in the HDMI cable to my projector, the projector's output flickers, once and then nothing is successfully projected from the Apple TV. My projector is showing its default output - "Connect the Remote."

About the Device Setup:

I have three Apple TVs - and they all give me this error. My HDMI cable is working fine elsewhere. It is not a high-end cable; it is of third-party (came with the projector). I tried a monster cable, even, and I get the error too. To get this connection to work, I must unplug the HDMI cable from the Apple TV, and then plug the cable back in. Then It works.

Safari 14's Release:

To add, this all began to occur after the Safari 14 install. But, I do not think Safari 14 plays any part in this, being it is my Apple TV, and not Safari.
