“Couldn’t connect to server” sharing notes problem

So recently I’ve been trying to share a note with my friend but every time I’ve tried it says “couldn’t connect to server” and I’ve tried many things to solve this problem.

When I was messing around with my iCloud setting I accidentally turned off my photos so a TON of storage was available but I didn’t know what I had done

Later my friend asked me to try and share that note again for one of our college classes.

I went to go try again and to my surprise it let me share it and I was confused as to why it let me share it now.

so it turns out that you need iCloud storage to share any note. So to do this I’ve provided you with instructions on how to share a note and not lose any data in your iCloud

  1. open settings
  2. click on your name
  3. click “iCloud”
  4. click manage storage
  5. disable and delete photos
  6. share the note you desire to share
  7. repeat steps 1-4
  8. then instead of pressing disable and delete press UNDO disable and delete

AND THERE YOU GO!!!! you shared your note AND you didn’t lose any of your data
