Waterproofing your MacBook Air?

So, I just bought a MacBook, and three days later, I accidentally spilled about 10ml of water at the side, near the charging port. I did not know if water got inside. I hoped that there was no water which went inside the keyboard since I have a silicone keyboard protector. I also had a hardcore shell and a thin plastic screen protector.

But still, I panicked and I immediately shut down my Mac, put it in a "tent" position, and let it sit for 36 hours.

I opened my MacBook and restarted it, holding down "D", and running Apple Diagnostics. No issues were found. Yay!

Anyway, do you guys have any suggestions on how to waterproof your MacBook? (Aside from not having any liquid near it?)

There is no way to waterproof a MacBook or, for that matter, waterproof any laptop made today. There are entry and exit locations all over the MacBook. Air and Dust will definitely get in. Air, as you know, is needed to keep the MacBook operating within acceptable temperatures.
