yes, cannot do it on iphone watch app.

but you can do it on the watch by long press and choose customized. There you can find the stock option.

I think it’s a bug on the watch app since I updated to 14.2

The Modular Face has a 'Settings' mode. To get to it, choose the Modular Face, then press and hold on the face. You'll see a miniaturized version of the face with the word Modular above it, and a button called 'Customize' below it. The miniaturized version will zoom out but with a frame around it. From there you can then swipe the frame to the left, revealing smaller frame around different zones on the face. You can swap in or out different information (weather, date, stocks, fitness rings, calm, etc.) to that it shows up in the different zone you choose to operate on.

It's hard to describe this without screenshots, but the key is to remember the long press on the Modular face, touch 'Customize' at the bottom, and then use combinations of touch and the crown (for navigating large lists, etc.)

Hope that helps.

I am having similar issues. I have tried restarting both iPhone and Watch as well as deleting and reinstalling the Stocks App. I even tried unpairing and repairing the Watch. Sometimes success for a day or so but can't seem to fully resolve. I believe that Stocks does not appear in the Complications list because it is a stock app (Apple app) (no pun intended).

If you delete the Stocks app from your iPhone it will remove the Stocks complication from your Watch. You can then download the Stocks app from the app store which will also reinstall the complication- I have had limited short lived success but it may resolve your issues.

Another thing worth mentioning is that I first noticed this issue after updating to iOs 14 and watchOS 7. Also I first experienced the issue on my Watch Edition 5 and now on my new Watch Edition 6 (which I setup by restoring from 5 backup).

I also tried unpairing my Watch Edition 6 and setting up as a new Watch. Although it seemed to resolve I did not want to keep it that way too long out of fear of losing the ability to restore from the backup that had all of my Watch settings. If I had to guess the setup as new watch would have experienced the same Stocks complication issue within a day or so... but I could be wrong.

I'm so glad you posted this - yes, that's the answer. You can only add Stocks via the watch using the very strange Customize procedure that isolates each of these areas and then (using the crown) lets you scroll through what shows in each area. It also took a short time for the stocks to load data, so I was able to have the Dow Jones as the 'detail' and then return to it on the Modular watch.

I was trying for days to figure out this one!
