recently changed my password for apple ID and now my iMac27" computer won't let me sign in, says it is connected to an clout account?

Apple ID not being recognized on computer for icloud login I recently updated my Mac OS and now my apple ID doesn't seem to be recognized. It won't sign into icloud. I tried changing the apple ID, changing the password and resetting the password through command prompt however the account wasn't listed as an option to change the password.
