Stock Email app

So out of no where, my stock email app stopped working properly, it kick me off my email addresses and said i have to reenter the passwords to the accounts but when i tried it kept on saying there was a error and i cant figure it out how to fix it. And this is on bot my ipad and iphone. And it happened on my sisters i pad and phone, since it happened to both of up im wondering if its a softwear thing

After reviewing your post, it seems like you have been kicked out of email account on the iPhone. There are a couple things you can try that may be able to help. We would recommend you read these articles and use them to help troubleshoot the issue.


"Check your email address and password

If Mail asks you to enter a password for your email account, make sure that your password is correct. To check your email address and password, sign in to your email provider's website.

If you still get a username or password error, contact your email provider or system administrator."


If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


"Remove your email account and set it up again

  1. On your computer, sign in to your email provider’s website. Make sure that all of your email is there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your iOS device.
  2. On your iOS device, go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts.
  3. Tap the email account that you want to remove.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Add your account again."


If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
