After updating iPhone to 14.0.1, my watch app keeps crashing. Help??????? Now my watch isn't connecting to my iPhone. No bluetooth found on the watch in the control center.

Hey. I did this on my own. I restored my iPhone as new. But before doing that. I saved the important stuff to the cloud. My photos to Photos and contacts, other stuff to the cloud. Then my watch paired and all is well now. I know it’s a hassle but this method worked for me. Good luck.
The AppleCare has been useless at resolving this. I have watch 6. After upgrading to the new OS the app started crashing. You could try a few things.
The guys at Applecare are useless and sleeping! This problem has been around for a while and they seem to have no clue at this! Thanks to this community ‘technicians’ at this forum this problem has been resolved for me.
Have faith in your abilities to resolve this!

I had to restore my phone back to new not from a backup. A lot work to do so. But it’s working now.
I have found that restoring your phone doesn't work. you have to "set it up as new", then go to the cloud and pull your data back over to your phone.
Just been on the phone to a senior technician. International issue. They are aware of it. Apparently it could take days or months to fix!!! I asked how I would know and I was told to just keep trying. 😤
Yes, the only way to pair up the watch with the apps is to restore it as a BRAND NEW iPhone with its very own built in watch app . i did it for the whole night. it works after that.
The Watch app for iOS is crashing upon launch for me too. I am also on iOS 14.0.1. My watch is successfully connecting via Bluetooth when I select, but it is failing to connect automatically.
I am fuming. Apple Watch SE won’t pair with iPhone XR. Apple cancelled my introduction call with 10 mins. Spent all day on the phone to them. Other than telling the time, my watch is useless. Watch app won’t open, won’t delete, updated to iOS 14.0.1 today. Nothing is working. Don’t have an apple store near me. Waste of time and money so far.
I am from Malaysia. I bought my Apple Watch Series 6 today. was exhilarating in the beginning. Pairing up with my iPhone XSMax with iOS14.2. it is okay for while. once I opened the apps, watch app couldn't connect with my apple watch. I went back to the store. too bad, the staff weren't prepared to troubleshoot and had directed me to call Apple Care support helpline. Was hoping the issue could resolved after the advisor asked me to restore the phone with backup. TOO BAD, it took me the whole evening to do so, it still didn't work. the Watch Apps keep crashing :(

I have had my watch for about a week now and everything was fine and then out of nowhere the Watch App stopped working. I updated software, deleted my phone and restored and still nothing. The watch is useless!! This is unacceptable! This need to be addressed and fixed immediately. With the amount of people that have complained and for it not being fixed is a joke. Get on this right away.
Did you completely delete the Apple Watch app from your iPhone before restoring it? Than restore your iPhone to “new”, download your things from the cloud and than go back in the Apple store and re-download the Apple Watch app? Or you just restored your phone to new, and once everything backed up from the cloud it just worked again
They want me to pay $229 to “fix” my watch that was perfectly fine before the update. Their update crashed my watch... is this part of their plan (like the throttled speeds) to force us to buy the new model?

Yep. did that and still nothing. So basically I have a very pricy paperweight, until Apple decides to do something about this issue. It is UNACCEPTABLE.
