Airpods Pro disconnects/disappears from Bluetooth list in Settings (iPhone XS, iOS 14.0.1)

Hi,

I have updated to iOS 14.0.1 on my iPhone XS. I am unable to maintain a stable pairing to my Airpods Pro since, with the connect prompt appearing each time the case lid is opened.

When I can get a connection, I can hear/control audio for about 30 sec before the disconnection 'bubow' and the pairing disappears from the bluetooth connections altogether (doesn't remain as 'disconnected').

Any assistance is appreciated.

Update: To rule out the Airpods Pro (A2084) as being the cause of the issue, I have now paired the same Airpods Pro to my iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 14.0. These are paired and working as expected without issue.

I have removed the Airpods Pro from the iPhone 8, and attempted to retry on on iPhone XS but the problem persists.

I have paired my Airpods (2nd Generation, A2031) to the iPhone XS without issue.
