how can i get my notifications to go away on my messenger app on my iphone8 ?

No, It was just to make the notification needs read number to go off my messenger app but I did an update to the iPhone and it left. Thanks for trying to help me though.

Is the question about turning OFF notifications from the FaceBook Messenger app? If YES then-

Open Settings ➔ Notifications ➔ Messenger: Here turn OFF the notifications.
