whenever i join a zoom the audio through my airpods is muffled and low quality. my spotify audio quality while the zoom is open is much lower. this doesnt happen when i use wired headphones. i haven't always had this problem. i've tried also resetting my airpods.

Hi, if you go to the bottom left on zoom where it says mute (or unmute) there is that small arrow if you then click on the built-in microphone (internal microphone) as the the selected microphone, your Spotify should work while you are on Zoom. But make sure when you want to participate in the Zoom call you switch the selected microphone to your AirPods again. I think this might be the only solution. I got new AirPods today and had that problem, but realized what the problem might've been.

the audio quality goes down because the zoom is on. It focuses the Zoom volume instead of spotify, it happens to everyone. I don't know if this was intentional or just a fault but its not just an anomaly so don't panic too much

Hello! I've have this issue in the past. Try going into settings (I'm assuming your macbook), and go to sound. Make sure your output is your airpods, along with your input.
