Imac 10.15.6 2012 model -grey screen after waking from sleep mode

My iMac has started acting weird.

I know its old, but it's been running really well.

I currently am running Catalina 10.15.6.

When waking it from sleep mode...the screen goes grey,then white bars run along the bottom of the screen.The mouse gets frozen.When I attempt to unlock the screen with the passcode, the screen goes blank then eventually starts up.This usually takes a few minutes.

What would be the cause of this?

It has memory for 4 slots and currently has 2x 4 GB being used.If I upgrade the memory slots will this make it run faster?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

More RAM should really help, but...

I think we can figure it out if you can submit an etrecheck report...

Whew, they've changed pastebin & made it harder, but after pasting in, click Create new paste button, then Embed button, then copy the URL...

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
