Final Cut is not connecting with my Mac’s internal microphone. How can I fix this?

Can anyone help me adjust Final Cut so I may use my Mac’s microphone for voiceovers?

Mic in my MBP on El Capitan does not work I am running a Mac Mini (early 2009) on El Capitan. In trying to connect to Zoom I found that the Mic does not work. I opened Preferences, Sound and Input and verified that the mic is not working. I also went to Preferences, opened Security & Privacy, and found that the mic is not shown in the left pane. Will apprecite your insights to solve this problem

Macbook Microphone My Macbook Pro (early 2015) - internal microphone isn't working for output. I want to attach an external microphone. What kind can I use and what port can I plug in to. I only use this for Zoom meetings. I have ports for HDMI, headphones and USB.

What version are you using? Check that the application has permissions in Privacy System Preferences.
