My Macbook Pro (early 2015) - internal microphone isn't working for output. I want to attach an external microphone. What kind can I use and what port can I plug in to. I only use this for Zoom meetings. I have ports for HDMI, headphones and USB.
HDMI is for display outputs only. You can use a USB microphone, or you can use headphones with a built-in microphone with the eighth-inch headphone jack.
