i tried to download apps from appstore and apps got stuck on waiting and didnt proceed. i am using iphone 6s running on ios 14.0.1. i have tried multiple options such as:
. turning airplane mode on and off
. resetting settings
. signing in/out to apple id
none of them has worked. kindly need help.

Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.
Try a restart.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Try a forced restart.
If necessary
Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.
Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
