Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I use iCloud with all my devices, its fantastic, seamless backup and storage.
I also use a “My cloud” backup for all my data, but this is not seamless!
The idea is to have one backup outside and one inside.
If I buy a time capsule that replaces “my cloud” will the time capsule act like iCloud giving a seamless backup and loading up unused data and freeing more space on my devices??

No, the Time Capsule was designed to work with Time Machine to back up everything on your Mac........not to move data on the Mac over to the Time Capsule to potentially save space on the Mac.
In addition, even if you wanted to try to do this, there are no settings to pick and choose what you want to automatically back up to the Time Capsule the way that there are using iCloud.
Bottom line.......iCloud and Time Machine / Time Capsule are totally different. You can't make one behave like the other or vice versa.
Thanks for a good answer , I thought it would be so. But is there anyway that I can mirror my iCloud and it’s behavior on a home device? Thinking of what happeneds if I loose the internet
I know of no way to do what you ask, or even come close. Perhaps another user can help.
