iPhone X Camera only works in 2x

We understand that you're seeing a black screen in the camera app, and want to help. First, make sure your software and apps are updated. The current software version is 14.0.1. To see what you have installed tap Settings > General > About. If an update is needed, be sure to back up your iPhone first:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update apps or use automatic downloads

If the issue continues after updating follow these steps: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working
